Catalina needed advertising and trade-show imagery for a prototype CGI aircraft that wasn't fully engineered yet. The render had to preserve the aircraft concept closely enough to support stakeholder conversations, buyer interest, and government-contract use cases.

Military-variant ad work used CGI model reference, Artlist Nano Banana rendering, and Photoshop finishing.
Catalina was creating images from a prototype CGI aircraft that was not engineered yet. Five variant models existed for different shooting and sales purposes, and every render had to respect the intended model, livery, and airframe identity.
That means the image couldn't be judged on cinematic quality alone — a shot could look expensive and dramatic while still being unusable if the aircraft details were wrong.
The concepts were intended for advertising, publication, trade shows, and stakeholder or government-contract conversations — visual drift there can misrepresent the product before the final aircraft exists.
AI tools could produce strong aviation images, but didn't reliably remember the aircraft as a production subject — windows appeared where they shouldn't, livery drifted, and incorrect shots sometimes looked more polished than accurate ones.
Some Coast Guard livery/window problems had to be corrected manually in Photoshop, showing that the creative pipeline still depended on human rescue.
Atlas Observe should hold the approved aircraft canon for each variant — accepted images, rejected images, and correction notes. The Creative Director needs a place to say: this version looks good, but this detail is wrong.
Atlas Observe becomes the production memory around the rendering tools — the aircraft variant, advertising purpose, and correction history travel with the next prompt, render, and composite.
